  1. I love this Anne ❤️ I had 2 Nurses in my family.
    After having 12 children my mom went back to school to be come a CNA, in the nursery at Illini. She loved those babies. My sister just retired from nursing. She was at her best when she was with patients. Another sister is an ophthalmic tech for her husband who is an eye surgeon. Not quite a nurse, but still in the health field.
    Thank you for sharing some of first nurses ❤️

    • I bet your mama and those babies were so happy together! Yes, Calamity Jane was news to me, too….and I didn’t include him but Walt Whitman was a nurse in the Civil War! such a surprise to learn.
